1992 Dooney & Bourke catalog: "These bags combine our finely detailed Dover styling with the casual ease and extra security of drawstring closures. Hand-Fitted Cases made by Dooney and Bourke are characterized by a sturdy base. We saturate our harness leather with water and gently stretch it around a wooden form, tacking it in place to dry. Once dry, the leather retains the precise shape of the mold. We then add a strip of leather around the base to reinforce the seam and give each bag the definitive Dooney & Bourke signature."

- Condition: Excellent; Almost like New; Not New. Very minimal sign of use such as slight darkening of inside flap, otherwise very clean. No damage such as rips or tears or missing parts. No offensive odors. Note: this bag is made very durable, thus a little heavier than one might imagine.
