• Brass buckles, closures and studs which were designed by skilled craftsmen and produced at a foundry that practiced the art of brass casting for more than 100 years. Each piece of brass was hand-polished until it gleamed then coated with a clear rock-hard lacquer to protect it from scratching and tarnighing. this bag has retained much of this shine & beauty with some signs of use & aging.
• Condition: Very Good with no rips or odd odors. We are listing this fine Dooney Horseshoe bag in our Bargain Bags section (no returns on Bargain Bags; Always 100% guaranteed authentic Dooney & Bourke) as it has seen normal use and trim shows signs of use with small discolorations & surface creases. It is structurally sound and has received maximum careful restoration thus its original beauty shines through.

 Jo's Note: A regal black Horseshoe bag at a Bargain price as it is not listing as excellent or like new! This being said, it is a well cared for Vintage Dooney in good condition. Special NOTE: The 2 small "leather strap keepers" are missing from this bag. That's the tiny little leather bands which hold the 2 sides of the shoulder strap close together just above the square brass ring. Some Dooney owners removed these as they rarely actually stayed in place when the bag was worn and you have to keep sliding them back in place yourself often. Not having them on the strap does not comprimise the bag, yet I wanted you to know. I have priced this regal black Horseshoe bag accordingly!
